This Erik S. Klein's web site is dedicated to collecting, restoring and simply playing with old ( A.K.A. vintage, classic, antique, outdated or just plain junk ) computers. Erik S. Klein's Vintage Computer Collection includes such classic systems as Mark-8, Kenbak-1, Apple ][, Apple III, Atari 800, Atari 400, Mits Altair 8800, MITS Altair 8800BT, IMSAI 8080, Processor Technology Sol-20, Osborne 1, Telcon Zorba, Kaypro, Hewlet Packard, IBM PC, Compaq Portable, Commodore Vic-20, PET, Plus/4 and others, Altos ACS 8000, CompuPro, Cromemco and other S-100 and CP/M systems and much more. There are three criteria met by the computers listed here: They were, with a very few exceptions, built before 1985 ( which classifies them as antiques in the computer world ), they were built primarily to be used by individuals or very small groups and they were built to be sold inexpensively. Another requirement for listing here is, of course, that the item in question is in Erik S. Klein's personal collection. If you don't see it listed here then Erik S. Klein probably doesn't have one. . . yet.
